Our Team

Our Team

We have a fantastic staff team at Uganda Hands for Hope, the majority of which are local staff. The team can be broken down into four main areas:

Management Team: This group of committed people help to lead the organisation and work on the areas of programme management, donor relationships, fundraising and partnerships, communications, finance, HR, site development and strategy.

Social Outreach Staff: These are the fantastic individuals who go into the community, on a daily basis, listen to those in need, identify especially vulnerable families, make sure that children attend class, initiate livelihood projects, run our community library and organise various health related activities.

Teaching Staff: Our dedicated teaching staff manage over 200 children each day. Apart from providing education, they help our children to develop confidence and a sense of right and wrong, amongst other key skills. The teachers’ insight into changes in behaviour also informs the Social Outreach team, who in turn investigate the child’s welfare.
